About

Carolina Memorial Funeral Home and Carolina Memorial Gardens have served the residents of North Charleston, South Carolina, since 1954. For more than 60 years, our commitment has remained unchanged. Situated on 80 acres just off Interstate 26, a few miles west of Charleston, the funeral home and cemetery work together to provide a full range of memorial, cremation and burial services.

At Carolina Memorial, we believe that every funeral should celebrate the life that was lived. The experienced teams at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home and Carolina Memorial Gardens are dedicated to exceeding expectations and ensuring each funeral service, cremation or burial is personal and memorable.

Personalized funerals and memorials

Chapel at Carolina Funeral HomeCarolina Memorial Funeral Home serves families from diverse cultural backgrounds and faith systems. We believe that unique lives deserve unique services, and we strive to design one-of-a-kind memorials that capture the essence of a loved one.

The funeral home is 17,000 square feet and constructed in keeping with Old Charleston architecture, including a non-denominational chapel that accommodates as many as 200 friends and family members.

Carolina Memorial Funeral Home has several spaces for catered receptions—ranging from simple coffee and tea service to light appetizers with wine to a breakfast buffet to a sit-down dinner. Traditional or contemporary, a catered reception allows family and friends to spend time together sharing memories and comfort.

Southern traditions, modern conveniences

They can also help you choose just the right flowers—from casket sprays to cemetery bouquets—from our on-site florist, Creative Florals of Charleston.

Cremation services

The funeral home also has an on-site crematory. Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home team can explain the process and the different memorial service options. From a direct cremation without a service to a full funeral service before or after the cremation, we can help you understand your options with the increasingly common choice of cremation.
